Partial Cancellation of Boil Water Notice:
On January 9, 2018 at 2:22 pm, some residents were notified of the need to boil/disinfect all tap water used for drinking and cooking purposes.
Montecito Water District in conjunction with the State Water Resources Control Board has determined that, through abatement of the health hazard and comprehensive testing, the water in the Summerland area is safe to drink.
In the Summerland Area it is no longer necessary to boil your tap water or for you to consume bottled water in the area as described below:
- East of and including Ortega Ridge Road to the ocean.
- South of and including Hunt Drive.
- West of and including Greenwell Road / Asegra Road
- This area includes Freesia Drive, Caspia Lane, Marguerita Way, and the Montecito Ranch Estates.

El 1/9/2018 a las 2:22 pm se le notificó la necesidad de hervir / desinfectar toda el agua del grifo utilizada para beber y cocinar.
El Distrito de Agua de Montecito junto con la Junta Estatal de Control de Recursos Hídricos ha determinado que, a través de la reducción del peligro para la salud y las pruebas exhaustivas, el agua en el área de Summerland es segura para beber.
En el área de Summerland ya no es necesario hervir el agua del grifo o consumir agua embotellada en el área como se describe a continuación:
- · Al este e incluyendo Ortega Ridge Road
- Al sur de e incluyendo Hunt Drive.
- Al oeste e incluyendo Greenwell Road / Asegra Road
- Esta área incluye Freesia Drive, Caspia Lane, Marguerita Way y Montecito Ranch Estates.
