Winter Weather Advisory until 03:00PM Tuesday

...WINTER STORM TO IMPACT THE MID-SOUTH TONIGHT AND TUESDAY... .A strong upper level disturbance will move through the Mid South tonight as arctic air spills into the region. Snow has developed and will become heavy at times over east central Arkansas, northwest Mississippi, and into much of west Tennessee later tonight. Snow will taper off from northwest to southeast on Tuesday. The combination of very cold temperatures and gusty northwest winds will produce wind chill values to zero or below, mainly along and north of Interstate 40. ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 3 PM CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute on Tuesday. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected, with the highest totals near and to the north of the Mississippi and Tennessee state line.

* WHERE...Portions of North Mississippi and West Tennessee.

* WHEN...Midnight to 3 PM Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times and hazardous driving conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
