Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) has concluded their tactical response regarding the barricaded suspect at the 30 blk West Mountain View Street, Long Beach.
On Sunday, January 14, 2018, Special Enforcement Bureau deputies were assisting Industry Station detectives execute a search warrant for a Robbery suspect in Long Beach. During the course of their service, the suspect barricaded himself inside the location.
After several hours and verbal attempts by LASD Crisis Negotiations Team members to persuade the suspect to surrender, he refused to comply. SEB deputies entered the location and detained the suspect without further incident.
The area was deemed safe and all neighborhood evacuees were allowed to return to their homes.
The suspect was arrested and transported to Industry Sheriff’s Station where he was booked for Robbery, and is being held in lieu of $100,000.00 bail.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) is responding to the 30 block of West Mountain View Street, Long Beach, regarding a barricaded Armed Robbery suspect.
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
The SEB Special Weapons Team has assumed command of the tactical response and the Crisis Negotiation Team is on scene to help bring the situation to a peaceful resolution.
