Janesville Police respond to armed subject 
On 1-15-18 at 6:26 AM, Janesville officers responded to a report of an armed subject call in the area of 3235 Randolph Rd. A juvenile male victim reported a Hispanic male approached his car and pointed a gun at him after the victim dropped off the suspect’s juvenile sister at the incident location. Officers set up a perimeter around the location and a police negotiator contacted the suspect by phone. After a short time the suspect came out of the residence and surrendered to officers without incident. An unloaded .45 caliber semi auto handgun that was used in the incident was recovered.
