County Roads and State Highways (including Interstates) have become extremely slick and dangerous in Gibson County. Due to high winds, roads are drifting shut in some places. It is advised that should you have to be out tonight, drive slow and leave early. Wait times for wrecker services are in hours not minutes. If you decide to drive and slide off the roadway, be prepared for a long wait for help to arrive. The Gibson County Sheriff's Office does not have any vehicles capable of removing vehicles that have slid off the roadways.
