Lake County government is hosting important Community Forums in Lakeport and Middletown to seek public input on Core County Government services and finances.
Three previous meetings in other areas of the County were well attended, and residents have generously shared insights and ideas.
“Lake County is facing some very difficult budget decisions ahead, and we are asking for residents’ help in prioritizing our County services and financial needs,” said County Administrative Officer Carol Huchingson. “This is an important opportunity for residents to share their ideas, voice their questions and shape the future of our County government,” continued Huchingson. “Each of our Community Visioning Forums will be held in the evening to ensure that those who work during the day have the opportunity to participate.”
There is no charge to attend. The two remaining Community Forums are scheduled as follows:
The County has also established a special email account at [email protected] which provides residents who are unable to attend these Forums a further opportunity to share their input, ideas and questions about Lake County government services.
