Detectives from the Camarillo Police Department’s Special Enforcement Detail (SED) arrested a wanted felon and active Oxnard gang member for stealing high-end hand bags from a retail store, located at the Camarillo Outlet mall. On 01/04/18, a Hispanic male subject entered the Michael Kors store at the Camarillo Outlets and stole property valued at $1,660. An alert citizen witnessed the incident and provided law enforcement with the license plate number of the car the suspect left in. Over the course of the next two days, the Camarillo Special Enforcement Detail followed up with the information provided by the citizen. Evidence gathered during the investigation indicated Raymond Quintana, a wanted felonand active Oxnard gang member, was responsible for the theft, at Michael Kors. On 01/06/18, Oxnard Police Department officers located Quintana and arrested him for P.C. 487(a) – Grand Theft. During a search of the vehicle Quintana was driving at the time of his arrest, officers located one of the items stolen from Michael Kors.
