The Jackson Police Department is preparing to test applicants for the position of Police Officer.  The Jackson Police Department is also taking applications for Sworn Police Officers who are considering new opportunities.    

The Jackson Police Department will test ALL applicants on March 24th.  All paperwork must be submitted to City Hall by February 28th for eligibility in taking the test in March.

Also, the Jackson Police Department will participate in a Job Fair scheduled at the State Building located on Martin Luther King Drive in Jackson Tennessee. 

The Job Fair is scheduled for February 13th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  The Jackson Police Department will be handing out applications and talking with applicants.  

For minimum requirements, read the attached documents.  One document is for Lateral Hires and the other is for applicants who need to attend a Law Enforcement Academy.
