* WHAT...Rain will changeover to a mix of freezing rain, sleet, and light snow. Temperatures will drop quickly behind a cold
front causing any moisture to freeze on surfaces. The ice will result in very slippery conditions on sidewalks, roads and
bridges. A light glaze of ice is expected with less than one-half inch of snow accumulation.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast and east central Missouri and southwest Illinois.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 6 AM CST Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory is issued for a variety of winter weather conditions, such as snow, blowing snow, sleet, or
freezing drizzle and rain. It only takes a small amount of wintry precipitation to make roads, bridges, sidewalks, and parking lots
icy and dangerous. It is often difficult to tell when ice begins to form, so do not be caught off guard. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by
calling 5 1 1.
