Fatal Injury Traffic Collision

On January 10th, 2018 at about 5:22 pm, Pomona Police Dispatch received a call of a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision in the area of Monterey Ave and Park Ave. When officers arrived on scene, they located a male subject down in lanes of traffic. LA County Fire arrived on scene and began to render aid. The victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle involved is cooperating fully with investigators.
