Deputies are searching for a man who robbed a local AMPM Gas Station

SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, January 10th, deputies from the Highland Police Department responded to the report of a strong-arm robbery at the AM/PM Gas Station on Highland Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies were advised that an unknown suspect entered the AM/PM and told the clerk to put all the money inside a light blue gift bag. The clerk complied and the suspect fled, on foot, south from the location with about $600 in cash. The clerk believed the suspect had a handgun but never saw one. The suspect was described as a black male adult 5’9 170 lbs. in his late 20’s. Last seen wearing a black hoodie and dark colored pants. Clerk said the suspect had a Jamaican accent.
