Approximately 8:38PM, Emeryville Police Department received a call from a citizen, which led officers to a victim of a strong-arm robbery that occurred at 48th St. and San Pablo Ave. The suspects fled into Oakland and turned eastbound on 53rd St. riding blue, Ford GO Bikes and possessing the victim’s purse. Emeryville officers broadcast the suspects’ descriptions to Oakland Police officers, who located and detained three suspects, an adult male – Damontae Scott of Stockton, and two juveniles who are in their late teens. The officers transported the adult male to North County Jail for booking, and transported the two juveniles to Juvenile Hall. All three were arrested for robbery and assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury. EMS transported the victim to hospital for treatment for the non-life-threatening injuries inflicted upon her by the suspects.
