The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of Dec 31, 2017– Jan 06, 2018
 
 
December 31, 2017

• An Armed Robbery was reported at 2249 Huntington Drive (Exxon Mobil). Two male suspects entered the store.   One suspect pointed a black handgun at the store clerk and attempted to remove cash from the cash register.   The second suspect took two 18-packs of beer from the refrigerator.  The suspects fled northbound on Mt. Olive Drive with the beer.

• A Domestic Assault was reported at the corner of Central Avenue and Crestfield Drive.  The male suspect assaulted his ex-girlfriend, causing injury.  The suspect fled west-bound on Central Avenue.

• No significant activity.

• A Grand Theft Vehicle was reported on the 1400 block of Maynard Drive.  A 2011 Mercedes Benz E350 was stolen from the victim’s driveway.

• A Residential Burglary was reported on the 200 block of Mel Canyon Road.  Entry was made through a rear window. A rear glass door was shattered, and two rooms were ransacked.  No loss was reported.
• A Petty Theft was reported on the 1800 block of Second Street.  A “Schwinn” bicycle was stolen from the victim’s car port.

• Deputies arrested an adult male for drinking in public, and an adult male for possession of illegal narcotics for sale.

• Deputies arrested an adult male for possession of illegal narcotics.

• Deputies arrested an adult male for public intoxication.
