*Update* #LASD Shooting Death Investigation, 10700 Block of Balfour St., Whittier
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male adult that occurred on the 10700 block of Balfour Street in the unincorporated area of Whittier on Monday, January 8, 2018, at approximately 12:00 A.M.
Detectives have learned that deputies assigned to the Pico Rivera station responded to the location regarding a person down call for service. Upon their arrival, they found a male adult who sustained at least one gunshot wound to the mid-torso area, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, there is no motive known for the crime, and there is no suspect description.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau detectives are responding to investigate a shooting death. The incident occurred on Monday, January 8, 2018, at approximately 12:20 A.M. on the 10700 block of Balfour Street in the unincorporated area of Whittier.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
