Hello,

This is the City of Haverhill’s Trash and Recycling Department on Friday, January 5th with an important message. The purpose of this message is to inform you that trash and recycling will continue as scheduled on Saturday of this week despite the impending snow storm. 

As you may already be aware, trash and recycling is delayed one day this week due to the Holiday so if you are normally collected on Friday you will be collected on Saturday this week. with no additional delays due to the storm.  If your trash is collected by a private contractor, this message does not apply to you.

Please make sure that trash barrels and recycling bins are easily accessible and avoid placing them behind large snow banks that may cause them to be missed by the City’s hauling contractor.   Also please make sure to have your material curbside by 6:00am.

Place trash and/or recycling out curbside by 6:00am. Trash will continue tomorrow (Saturday) for Fridays collection route.
