Officials have declared Atlantic County a disaster area and have issued a travel ban Thursday.Only essential county personnel and personnel providing essential public services are allowed to travel on county and municipal roads, according to a statement from the Atlantic County Office of Emergency Management.“Protective measures necessary in order to safeguard the public’s safety, health, and welfare, and to coordinate the recovery efforts from this disaster,”
