Wind Chill Advisory until 12:00PM Thursday
...VERY COLD WIND CHILLS EXPECTED TONIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING... ...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills of 10 to 15 degrees below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of central and east central Missouri and south central and southwest Illinois.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to noon CST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chill values. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors, make sure you wear a hat and gloves, making sure all exposed skin is covered.
