Road Closures Planned for Golden Globe Awards Jan. 7 - Access Maintained for Residents, Club Members

The 75th annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hilton on Jan. 7, 2018, as it has for more than 40 years. This year, the Beverly Hills Police Department is deploying additional staff and security measures to ensure a safe and secure site, utilising the latest technology and best practices for high profile events.

Road closures will be set up on Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards with access provided only to local residents and to the Los Angeles Country Club members. Alternate east-west routes include: S. Santa Monica, Olympic, Pico and Sunset boulevards.

Additionally, partial closures will be established on Trenton, Whittier, Carmelita, Elevado and Lomitas, with access granted only to residents. All north/south streets east of Bedford Dr will remain open. Parking restrictions will be imposed on all affected streets.

Please note that Wilshire Boulevard near La Cienega Boulevard will be closed for construction of the Metro Purple Line project Jan. 5-8. This is a complete closure of Wilshire Boulevard and may cause additional traffic congestion in the eastern part of the City.
