The Janesville Police Department announces the hiring of seven police officers starting on January 3, 2018. The new officers are as follows.

Clayton J. Coleman
Mr. Clayton Coleman is from Janesville, WI. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Platteville in May 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He completed the Blackhawk Technical College police academy in December 2017. Mr. Coleman most recently worked for Land’s End in Dodgeville.

Peter J. Cronin
Mr. Peter Cronin is from Janesville, WI. He graduated from the Blackhawk Technical College in May 2017 with an Associates of Art Degree. He will attend the Blackhawk Technical College police academy staring January 9, 2018. Mr. Cronin most recently worked for Precision Metal Fabricators in Milton.

Kaitlyn M. Eucker
Ms. Kaitlyn Eucker is from Janesville, WI. She graduated from Tiffin University in April 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. She completed the Blackhawk Technical College police academy in October 2017. Ms. Eucker most recently worked for The Buckle.

Chad M. Navarre
Mr. Chad Navarre lives in Janesville, WI. He attended Marian University in Fond du Lac earning credits towards a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He completed the Marian University police academy in 2007. Mr. Navarre most recently worked for Wisconsin Capital Police.

Ryan D. Shelton
Mr. Ryan Shelton is from Janesville, WI. He attended the University of Dubuque majoring in Flight Operations. He completed the Blackhawk Technical College police academy in December 2017. Mr. Shelton most recently worked for the Village of Clinton Emergency Medical Services.

Jose D. Torres Jr
Mr. Jose Torres lives in Janesville, WI. He attended Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton VA as well as the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. He completed the Blackhawk Technical College police academy in December 2011. Mr. Torres most recently worked for The Dane County Sherriff’s Office.

Jonathan J. Williams
Mr. Jonathan Williams is from Fond du Lac, WI. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in December 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration. He completed the Fox Valley Technical College police academy in December 2011. Mr. Williams most recently worked for the Fond du Lac Police Department.
