Forest Park Murder Suspect Located In S.C. By Sheriff Victor Hill’s Elite Fugitive Squad & Now In Custody
It has been said by motivational speakers that how you start out on the first day of the year can indicate your performance for the year. If this is true, Sheriff Victor Hill’s elite Fugitive Squad has set the pace for crime fighting in the new year of 2018
On December 30, 2017, Franklin Weaver shot a man multiple times killing him at an apartment complex on Jonesboro Road in Forest Park after an verbal dispute. Forest Park Homicide Detectives positively identified Weaver as the shooter and took out murder warrants for his arrest.
On the first day of the new year today, Sheriff Victor Hill’s elite Fugitive Squad tracked Weaver to S.C. where they had him arrested and held by local authorities. Members of the elite Squad will bring Weaver back to face justice.
The Sheriff has set out a new strategic plan for 2018 to put 3 times the amount of pressure on criminals then the Sheriff’s Office did last year. This is good news for law abiding citizens, but bad news for the bad guys. The only options for those who choose to rape, rob, or murder will simply be to cease criminal activity, leave Clayton County, or face the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.
