Deputies arrest Roberto Ibarra for possession of a stolen vehicle and carjacking

SUSPECT(S): Roberto Ibarra, 30 year old resident of Colton
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: While on patrol in Grand Terrace, Deputy B. Becker received a Lojack signal of a stolen vehicle. Becker followed the signal into the city of Colton and located the stolen vehicle abandoned in an apartment complex. Through investigation, Becker learned the vehicle was stolen during a carjacking in Fontana.
Deputy Becker saw Roberto Ibarra walking away from the apartment complex. Ibarra had the keys to the stolen vehicle and was positively identified as the person who carjacked the victim. Ibarra was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center, his bail is set at $100,000.
