The NWS has issued a WIND CHILL ADVISORY for Bledsoe Co. from 11:00 PM SCT till 11:00 AM Monday. Wind chills could reach +5 to -10degrees

.Very Cold Wind Chills Expected Across the Higher Elevations of Tennessee...

.An Arctic airmass will move into the region with very cold
temperatures expected. The combination of the cold air and wind
will result in dangerously cold wind chills between 5 above zero
to 10 below zero across the higher elevations of East Tennessee tonight through Monday morning.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT EST /11 PM CST/
TONIGHT TO NOON EST /11 AM CST/ MONDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Expect wind chills to
range from 5 above zero to 10 below zero.

* WHERE...Higher elevations of East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia
and Southwest North Carolina.

* WHEN...From midnight EST /11 PM CST/ tonight to noon EST /11
AM CST/ Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold wind chills will cause frostbite
in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. These conditions can
lead to hypothermia, or even death, if precautions are not taken
when exposed to the cold air. Those venturing outdoors should
dress warmly...making sure all exposed skin is covered.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
