...VERY COLD AIR TO ARRIVE TONIGHT... .An arctic cold front will move through southern Mississippi and southeast Louisiana during the day today. Very cold air in the wake of the front will drop temperatures into the lower and middle 20s overnight tonight across southwest and coastal Mississippi and the adjacent portions of Parishes north of the I- 10 corridor in southeast Louisiana. South of the I-10 corridor in southeast Louisiana temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s overnight Sunday night. The freeze and hard freeze watches for tonight have been upgraded to warnings and a hard freeze watch has been issued for the entire area for Monday night as temperatures drop even further. ...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 11 AM CST MONDAY... ...HARD FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING... The National Weather Service in New Orleans has upgraded the Freeze Watch to a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from midnight tonight to 11 AM CST Monday. A Hard Freeze Watch has also been issued from Monday evening through Tuesday morning.
