...Light freezing rain and sleet will be possible over portions of north Mississippi late tonight and early Sunday, followed by bitter cold wind chills over all the Midsouth Sunday night... .An Arctic cold front will drop through the Midsouth today, dropping temperatures below freezing areawide this evening. Light freezing rain, freezing drizzle or sleet may move into north Mississippi late tonight and early Sunday morning, producing light accumulations of ice on bridges and other exposed objects. The light wintry precipitation will likely exit by late Sunday morning. Bitter cold Arctic air will arrive to the Midsouth Sunday night. By sunrise Monday, wind chills will range from -5 to -10 north of Interstate 40, to zero to -5 to the south of Interstate 40. Lighter winds are forecast for Monday night, but will be accompanied by colder temperatures.
