Wind Chill Advisory until 12:00PM Tuesday

...SNOW TO BE FOLLOWED BY BRUTAL COLD... ...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM SATURDAY TO NOON CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Expect wind chills to range from 15 below zero to 25 below zero, and they may be as low as 30 below zero late Sunday night into Monday.

* WHERE...Most of central Illinois, as far south as I-70.

* WHEN...Beginning around sunset Saturday, and continuing into Tuesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...People outside this weekend and early next week need to be dressed properly. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
