#038, 041, 042 & 043 Possession of a Controlled Substance Arrest
In response to community complaints and calls for service which included multiple arrests for drug violations over the last several months, swing shift officers organized a planned probation search in the 500 block of Posada Way.  During the investigation six people in the residence were detained while the house was searched.  Three suspects were arrested for various drug violations and one suspect admitted she was hiding contraband on her person. The Street Crimes Unit provided assistance with the investigation and Sergeant Tang managed the incident.

#031 Grand Theft
At 4:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to a cellular phone store located in the 43300 block of Christy St, on the report of a shoplifting incident that occurred approximately 40 minutes prior.  The reporting party stated that a suspect reportedly stole four iPhone X phones and fled on foot. Officer Davis began an investigation. Unfortunately video was not accessible so further follow up will be completed.  The suspect was described as a black male adult, approximately 20 years old, last seen wearing a black hoodie, black beanie and blue jeans.  The loss is valued at $4600.

#005 Outside Assist/Medical Call
Officers located an intoxicated transient male sleeping in front of a business at Walnut Plaza (Walnut/Paseo).  The male had visible facial injuries and his sandals were strewn about the area along with cans of malt Liquor.  The male was wearing a hospital band that helped officers identify him.   The male was too intoxicated to answer any questions regarding whether he was involved in a physical altercation.  The male was taken to a trauma center to be treated for his injuries. Officer Wong documented this as a “Sick/Cared For” report.

#006 Stolen Vehicle Recovery/Suspicious Persons
Officer Gonzales was dispatched to Safeway Warm Springs on a report of two suspicious vehicles and males associated with those suspicious vehicles looking into other parked vehicles.  When Officer Gonzales arrived on scene he located the described suspect vehicle but not the occupants.  Officer Gonzales learned it was a reported stolen vehicle out of Milpitas PD.
