Detectives Seek Public's Help with Death Investigation

INCIDENT: Death Investigation
LOCATION: 55000 block of Sante Fe Tr, Yucca Valley
SUMMARY: Deputies responded with County Fire to a call of an unresponsive female in a vacant dirt field off of Santa Fe Trail. The female was found to be deceased. Detectives responded along with an investigator from the County Coroner's Office. The female victim's name is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. An autopsy will be perfomed to determine the cause of death, which is not know at this time.
The circumstances surrounding the female's death are being investigated and detectives are seeking the public’s assistance.
