Multiple Auto Burglaries at Bridgepointe Shopping Center-Stay Vigilant and Help Spread the Word!

Although we are actively patrolling, conducting high visibility details, and putting out message boards to warn shoppers of the significant increase of auto burglaries at our shopping centers, WE NEED YOUR HELP to avoid becoming a victim and to spread the word! Keep your valuables out sight. An empty car is not a target.  If the crook can see it, he/she will steal it. Keep in mind, if you put items in your trunk the thief could be watching and can just as easily steal it from your trunk than your back seat. Be aware of your surroundings!

Consider bringing your items with you to the next store or restaurant. Park in a well-lit, well-traveled area where natural surveillance is available and can act as a deterrent. Lock your doors! Empty backpacks, purses, and bags are just as enticing to crooks looking to make their Christmas brighter.

The holidays are for giving to those you love and appreciate, so let’s work together to make sure the bad guys get coal and not the precious gifts you spent your time and money buying for friends and family! Please share this information with family, friends, co-workers, visitors from out of state, the family dog and cat…Everyone!
