The Pasadena Police Department has an important message for the community!

The Pasadena Police Air Operations Section and the Foothill Air Support Team (FAST) will conduct their 10th annual Christmas Toy Drive at the Pediatrics Ward of Huntington Memorial Hospital. Pasadena Police Chief Phillip L. Sanchez, will escort Santa Claus and his flight suit clad “elves” as they arrive bearing gifts and holiday cheer in their own special rotor-equipped sleigh.

WHEN AND WHERE: Thursday, December 21st as follows:
Huntington Memorial Hospital, 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena
Meet in the Main Lobby no later than 9:30 am. The media will be escorted to the roof, where the “sleigh” (helicopter) will land with Santa and crew before visiting the Pediatrics Ward. Contact: Shavown Cox – 626-397-8641

After visiting the hospital, the flight crews will escort children impacted by domestic violence to the North Pole (Police Heliport). This event will be held in conjunction with Peace Over Violence. Peace Over Violence is an organization committed to serving domestic violence and sexual assault survivors in our community. This event was funded through the generous contributions of our employees and Officer Associations participating in the FAST program throughout the San Gabriel Valley. “This outreach continues to showcase the remarkable care and compassion of the men and women from all of our law enforcement agencies,” says Chief of Police Phillip L. Sanchez. “We are honored to bring joy into the lives of the children who may not be experiencing the Holidays at home this year.”
