Northeast Mountains
Including the following locations Colville, Deer Park, Chewelah,
Newport, Kettle Falls, Springdale-Hunters Road, Orin-Rice Road,
Flowery Trail Road

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow occurring. From early afternoon through
tonight, look for an additional accumulation of 5 to 8 inches of
accumulation for Metaline Falls, Northport, and Kettle Falls for
elevations above 2000 feet. For Usk, Chewelah, Colville, and
Gifford above 2000 feet look for 2 to 5 inches of additional
accumulation.

* WHERE...Colville, Chewelah, Newport, Kettle Falls, Flowery
Trail Road

* WHEN...Snowfall rates of an inch per hour will be possible this
afternoon and this evening before snow decreases after midnight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will be heavy and sticky. The weight
on tree limbs may cause power outages by this afternoon and this
evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are occurring. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
