0658 Hours: Officer Hunter investigated a burglary at Mission Linen Supply, 37707 Cherry Street. The loss was tools.

0821 Hours: Officer Wang investigated the theft of license plates from a vehicle on the 386000 block of Lavender Place.

0906 Hours: Officer Taylor investigated an auto burglary at the Venus Tam Café, 6267 Jarvis Avenue. The loss was a laptop computer.

0908 Hours: Officer Musantry investigated an auto burglary at Newark Buffet, 35201 Newark Boulevard. The loss was an iPad.

1152 Hours: Officer Musantry contacted and arrested a 35-year-old Newark female for her outstanding warrant on the 6500 block of Normandy Drive. The suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.

1317 Hours: Officer Piquette accepted a citizen arrest of a shoplifter at Macy’s, NewPark Mall. The suspect, a 22-year-old Oakland female was issued a citation and released at the scene.

1608 Hours: While speaking with a citizen in the lobby, the citizen was determined to have an outstanding warrant. Officer Palacio issued a citation to the 37-year-old Newark female and she was released.

1934 Hours: Officer Palacio and Field Training Officer Smith investigated an auto burglary on the 38500 block of Cherry Street. The loss was personal property.

1946 Hours: Officers responded to an alarm call at Pick n Pull, 7400 Mowry Avenue. After an extensive search, no suspect(s) could be located.
