Stay Safe and Warm!
Chief Garofalo #143

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 1 PM today through 9 PM for counties south of I-195. Snowfall of 1” to 3” is forecast with locally higher or lower amounts possible. Central and northeastern counties may see 1” to 2” inches later today. Snow is expected to start in South Jersey around noon, moving northward throughout the afternoon and evening.

Impacts to New Jersey
Due to the timing of this snowfall, caution is needed during the evening commute. Roads may be slippery, especially on bridges, ramps and overpasses, and untreated roads, sidewalks and other surfaces. Melted snow may refreeze to create slippery conditions. Limited visibilities may occur during heavier snowfall. Monitor local forecasts for updates.

Get ready for winter weather! Visit:http://ready.nj.gov/plan-prepare/winter.shtml. Pets are family too! Be sure to include them in your emergency plans. Visit animalemergency.nj.gov to find out more!
