On December 13, 2017, the Simi Valley Police Departments Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant in the 13000 block of Weidner in the City of Pacoima. This search warrant was the result of a two month long investigation into a methamphetamine dealer who serviced the Los Angeles and eastern Ventura County areas. During the execution of this search warrant, the suspect, Jesus Alfredo Mendivil (AKA Freddy) was arrested and charged with 11378 HS and 11379 HS and was booked into the Ventura County jail. Mendivil had prior arrests related to drug sales.
Within Mendivil’s residence, over 295 grams of methamphetamine were recovered along with a small amount of suspected drug proceeds. As a result of this investigation, nearly 3000 dosage units of methamphetamine were prevented from reaching the streets of our community.
