Ten search warrants served, eight arrested during day long operation

Modesto, CA – Detectives made multiple arrests and cleared nearly a dozen cases during a multi-agency search warrant operation.

A total of ten search warrants were served throughout Stanislaus County yesterday in connection to the June 12th shooting death of Terelle Swearengin and a recent string of violent robberies. With the assistance of the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, Turlock Police Department, Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office and the United States Marshall Service, the warrants produced a total of eight arrests, the discovery of a large marijuana grow, THC extraction lab, and the seizure of several guns. Below is a summary of the arrests made:

In the 1400 block of Pecos (three residences), a 17-year-old male was arrested for accessory to murder and on a Ceres Police Department robbery warrant. A handgun, large marijuana grow and THC extraction lab were located in one of the homes.

Marcus Franco (28) was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office in the 100 block of E. Orangeburg for a robbery warrant and violation of parole.

Dmarae White (19) was found in a home in the 900 block of Hackett and taken into custody for accessory to murder. Christina Coleman (32) was cited and released for child endangerment.

In the 500 block of Toro, Ricardo Aguiano (19) was arrested for two counts of robbery with enhancements, attempted kidnapping and kidnapping. A rifle was found inside the home and Emilio Flores (38) was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of ammunition.

During the service of two search warrants at adjacent residences in the 1700 block of E. Springer Drive in Turlock, two guns were found in one of the homes. Alexander Torres (33) and Desa Douangmala (33) were arrested for possession of an assault pistol and three counts each of child endangerment.

Marcus White (19), who is a suspect in the June 12th murder and has been tied to multiple Modesto robberies, was arrested last week in the Bay Area for a home invasion robbery that occurred in Elk Grove. He will be booked into the Stanislaus County Jail on multiple warrants for robbery and murder at a later date.

Yesterday’s arrests make the second large robbery series cleared by detectives in three weeks. On November 22nd Martin Sandoval (51) was arrested for eleven robberies that occurred primarily in northeast Modesto over the last several months.
