Stabbing Incident Arrest

On Thursday December, 14th at 12:20 PM officers were dispatched to 607 Tudor Dr. for a stabbing incident. At 12:23 PM the first officer arrived and found Dalton J. Rademacher age 19 outside in front of the residence with a stab wound to his abdomen. Rademacher identified the suspect as Justin G. Pennycook age 22, who left the scene in a vehicle prior to officer arrival. Detective Erik Goth located the suspect vehicle in area of S. Randall Av. at Tyler St. Located in the vehicle was the suspect Justin Pennycook who was taken into custody at 12:28 PM. During the investigation it was learned the knife used in the incident was thrown into Spring Brook Creek near the intersection of Ruger Av and Greendale Dr. Officers were able to recover the knife which was in the creek just north of the bridge. The victim was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital where he is in stable condition. The stabbing was the result of a separate domestic incident between Rademacher and a female acquaintance which occurred earlier today. The female and Pennycook share a child in common. Pennycook was held at the Rock County Jail until his initial appearance in court.
