Michael Cole is arrested for lewd acts with a child under 14

LOCATION: 6900 block of Grand Ave, Yucca Valley
SUSPECT(S): Michael Cole, 31 year-old resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On May 5, 2017, deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station responded to a report of a sexual assault to a minor. The victim told deputies that the suspect, Michael Cole, had sexually assaulted him. Deputies were unable to locate Cole because he moved and was believed to be in hiding.
On December 13, 2017, Detective Wilson and Detective Vaca took over the investigation and located Cole at the corner of Highway 62 and Dumosa Ave in the City of Yucca Valley.
Cole was transported to the Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station for an interview, and was later booked into Morongo Basin Jail, for PC 288(a), Lewd and Lascivious Act with a Child, PC 288a(a), Lewd and Lascivious Act with a Child under 14, PC 288(c)(1), Oral Copulation with a Child Under 14.
