Evansville man arrested on multiple drug charges.

On December 10, 2017, at 10:13 p.m. Deputy Jennifer Loesch conducted a traffic stop on County Road 100 West near US 41 on a White 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis for failing to maintain his vehicle in a traffic lane on US 41. Upon approaching the vehicle the driver 42 year old Joe Howell of Evansville, Indiana provided an Identification card through Tennessee to Deputy Loesch and admitted he did not have a valid driver’s license. At that point Deputy Loesch confirmed that Mr. Howell did not have a valid license and began a roadside investigation. During the investigation items that were identified as Marijuana and Crystal Meth were found in the vehicle.

At the end of her investigation Deputy Loesch placed Mr. Howell into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. At the Jail Mr. Howell was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, and Possession of Marijuana. Mr. Howell has since posted a $750 bond.

Assisting Deputy Loesch in her investigation was Princeton Officers Brandt George and Jeremy Robb.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
