...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS EVENING... The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 9 PM CST this evening.

* TIMING...Strong winds developing in west central Illinois around noon, and spreading into east central Illinois by late afternoon.

* WINDS...20 to 30 mph northwest winds with gusts to around 45 mph

* IMPACTS...Difficult driving conditions especially for high profile vehicles, as well as damage to small tree limbs. Lightweight objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans may be blown around.
