(Valley Springs, CA) On 12-07-17 at approx. 0330 hours deputies responded to the Dollar General store located on Riley Way in Valley Springs for a reported burglary. The store manager had arrived at the business and found the front glass door shattered. Deputies checked the premises and did not locate any suspects on scene.

A review of the video surveillance shows that on 12-06-17 at about 11:50pm two suspects are seen outside the business attempting to break the front door. The two suspects appear to be younger aged males (late teens to early twenties). The front glass door to the business was shattered and the suspects entered the store. One suspect went directly to the locked cigarette cabinet but was unsuccessful in getting any tobacco products. Both suspects are then seen running down the aisle and stole a pre-paid cell phone before exiting the store. Both suspects wore dark colored hooded sweatshirts and attempted to conceal their identity by covering their faces. Please review the attached pictures from video surveillance; taking note of the clothing, hat, shoes, and backpack of the suspects.
