Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews are repairing a broken valve at 3697 Woodlawn Drive.
As the result of the repair work, there are close to 50 homes in the area without water service at this time. The BWS is providing the residents with water via water wagons located at the following sites:
- 3657 Woodlawn Dr.
- 3656 Alani Dr.
- 3544 Akaka Place
Residents are asked to bring their own containers to fill with water.
Additionally, the BWS will be running a portable water pumper near the corner of Alani Dr. and Puhala Rise to provide water to the reservoir that serves the upper Woodlawn area.
Motorists are asked to drive with caution near the repair site -- as only one lane is open and traffic is being contra-flowed from time to time, as needed -- and near the portable water pumper.
