* Winds...Areas of east to northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 60 mph at times.
* Timing...The winds will weaken the rest of this afternoon and evening, then strengthen again Saturday through Sunday morning. Winds will weaken substantially late Sunday and Sunday night.
* Location...Strongest winds on the west slopes of the mountains and the foothills, especially through canyons.
