Purse Snatching Suspect Arrested 
On 12/7/17, our officers arrested Raphael Ray at his residence in Novato after a short foot chase. Ray was wanted for three warrants out of Marin County. He had also been identified as the suspect that stole a purse from a shopping cart belonging to a 92 year old victim at Safeway in Novato. Ray was booked into Marin County Jail yesterday evening.
The Novato Police Department would like to thank the community for their assistance with identifying and locating Ray's whereabouts.
