...ACCUMULATING SNOW CONTINUES ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH TEXAS... .Areas of snow continue across that part of South Texas mainly near the coast. Snowfall accumulations early this morning over the southern Coastal Bend ranged from 1 to 4 inches. Additional accumulations are expected over the southern Coastal Bend during the next hour. In addition to the wintry precipitation, cold wind chill values will continue over the Coastal Bend during the next few hours. ...WIND CHILL ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST THIS MORNING... ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate to heavy snow occurring. Very cold wind chills expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the morning commute. Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch are expected. Expect wind chills to be around 25 above zero.

* WHERE...Kleberg, Nueces and San Patricio.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 8 AM CST this morning. For the Wind Chill Advisory, until 9 AM CST this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions are occurring. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
