...ACCUMULATING SNOW EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH TEXAS TONIGHT... .Areas of light snow are currently occurring across the Brush Country. This light snow may eventually spread into the northern Coastal Bend and Victoria area by late tonight and overnight hours. Only minor accumulations are expected across the western Brush Country and Victoria areas. A greater winter weather event is expected overnight tonight across the Coastal Plains where a few inches of snow will be possible by sunrise Friday. Most accumulations will occur on grassy and elevated surfaces. In addition to the wintry precipitation, cold wind chill values are expected. ...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM CST FRIDAY... ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM CST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Accumulating snow expected. Cold wind chills expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches may occur with isolated higher amounts possible. Expect wind chills to fall to 22 to 25 degrees overnight.

* WHERE...Duval, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces and San Patricio.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from midnight tonight to 8 AM CST Friday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from midnight tonight to 8 AM CST Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Visibilities will be significantly reduced during periods of snow. Snow amounts may vary over short distances. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
