Starting on Monday, December 11 and continuing through Friday, December 15, Southern California Edison (SCE) will start their project on Rosecrans Avenue west of Sepulveda Blvd.

Traffic will be impacted during construction hours of 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, but efforts have been made to accommodate morning commuter traffic. The following closures will occur:
7:00 AM to 9:00 AM:
- All of eastbound Rosecrans Avenue through and turn lanes are open
- One through lane westbound on Rosecrans Avenue will be closed
- One through lane westbound on Rosecrans Avenue will remain open

9:00 AM to 10:00 PM:
- The traffic signal at the Rosecrans Ave/Sepulveda Blvd intersection will flash red;
- All traffic on Rosecrans Ave west of Sepulveda Blvd will be shifted to the south side of the center median;
- One through lane remains open in each direction on Rosecrans Avenue.

Please note that Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. staff, hired by Southern California Edison (SCE), will be directing traffic at the intersection from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The traffic signal will be back to normal operation at 10:00 PM.

Southern California Edison (SCE) is making these improvements to the electrical grid by replacing deteriorated towers with steel poles, which will ensure the power grid is supported with up-to-date technology and that reliability continues to improve. Please exercise caution in and around these areas while this project is in action.
