Strong Winds Expected Starting Monday Night. Take Safety Precautions and Secure Holiday Décor.

Forecasters are predicting moderate to strong Santa Ana winds in Southern California Monday evening (today) through at least Thursday. Peak winds are expected late tonight into early Tuesday afternoon. Gusts of up to 60 mph are possible across portions of the coast and valleys in western Los Angeles and eastern Ventura counties with 60 to 80 mph gusts possible in the mountains. Residents are advised to secure their holiday decorations and/or delay installing them until the weekend. To report downed power lines or any other safety issues, please call 911.
