On November 29, 2017 at 4:53 p.m. Deputy Ben Kiesel stopped a black 2000 BMW for speeding on Interstate 69 near State Road 68. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Kiesel attempted to identify the driver, but was given false information. At that point Deputy Kiesel began a roadside investigation. At the end of his investigation 23 year old Corbin Wira was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Wira was charged with False Informing and Unlawful Possession of a Syringe. Mr. Wira has since posted a $750 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
