Detectives Search 3 Locations for Evidence of Child Pornography

On 11-29-17 Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Detectives served search warrants at three residences in Calaveras County. Detectives are conducting an ongoing investigation involving a female juvenile exchanging sexually explicit pictures and having inappropriate contacts with two identified adult males. Digital media evidence was recovered during yesterday’s searches as well as methamphetamine and paraphernalia for use (syringes and pipes).

Detectives searched a residence on Glen Echo Drive in Hathaway Pines where two subjects were arrested. Randy Terry (age 39 from Arnold) was contacted. Although he was not a primary suspect in the current investigation, he was found to be in violation of his felony probation for possessing an unauthorized knife/sword. He was booked into the Calaveras County Jail on felony probation violation with no bail.

A second subject, William Heiser (age 43 of Hathaway Pines) was arrested as one of the primary suspects in this case. He was booked into the Calaveras County Jail with $50,000 bail on the following charges:
311.11(a)PC-send or possess obscene matter
313.1(a)PC-provide harmful matter to a minor
11353H&S-provide controlled substance to a minor
30305(a)PC-felon in possession of ammunition.

Detectives also searched other residences on Myrtle Street and Sequoia Avenue in Valley Springs. At one of those locations Jimmy King (age 27 from Valley Springs) was contacted. Although he was not a primary suspect in the current investigation, he was subsequently arrested on scene after it was determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance. Jimmy King was also charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition and a parole violation. He was booked into the Calaveras County Jail with no bail.

Jacob King (age 24 from Valley Springs) was later contacted by detectives as the other primary suspect in this case. He was arrested today, 11-30-17, at the Sheriff’s Office by detectives and booked into the Calaveras County Jail on the following charges:
311.11(a)PC-send or possess obscene matter
313.1(a)PC-provide harmful matter to a minor
261.5(c)PC-unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor

This investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
