Martinsville area residents: Controlled Burn today 11/28 starting at 9:30 A.M. Washington Valley Park area. 
This is targeted to our Martinsville area residents. Today NJ State Forestry Service will be conducting a controlled burn on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the area of the Washington Valley Park. A controlled burn is conducted to reduce fuel buildup on the forest floor and decrease the likelihood of a fire in the future.
This burn is scheduled to start at approximately 0930 hours and should conclude sometime in the evening. Residents should expect smoke in the area throughout the day on Tuesday and into Wednesday. The NJ Forestry Service will have their fire fighters in the area monitoring the situation during this event.
