#007:  Residential burglary:
An unknown suspect broke via rear window of a house on Via San Luis Rey.  The loss was electronic and personal items. 

#022:  Armed robbery:
At about 7:02 pm, in the 46000 block of Warm Springs Bl, officers responded to an armed robbery at a convenience store.  The suspect brandished a gun and took cash.  Suspect was described as a black male, about 45 years old, about 6 feet tall, wearing a green hooded jacket and blue jeans.

#010:  Threats/Obstruction/Possession of drug paraphernalia:
At 12:47 pm, officers responded to a residence on Lemke Pl for a report of a male threatening to fight a resident.  Upon arrival, officers contacted two males, one who resisted the police contact.  Officers had to physically restrain one subject, and detained a second subject.  As a result, a 33 year old male from Newark was arrested for challenging a person to fight; obstructing a peace officer; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

#016:  Possession of narcotics:
At 4:02 pm, officers conducted a probation search on a residence on Posada Way, due to neighborhood complaints regarding drug use in the neighborhood.  A 27 year old male from Fremont was arrested for possession of suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. 

#018:  Brandishing a replica firearm:
At 8:13 pm, officers responded to a motel on Research Av for a report of a man waving a gun.  A suspect was detained, and found to be in possession of a realistic looking pellet gun.  The investigation led to two suspects being arrested:  a 51 year old male from San Jose for brandishing a replica gun, possession of narcotics, and drug paraphernalia; and a 26 year old male from Newark for brandishing a deadly weapon (knife).

#002:  Interrupted auto burglary/robbery:
At about 12:01 am, a car owner found three suspects breaking into his car on Douglas Ct.  The owner ended up being confronted by all three suspects.  The three suspects fled prior to police arrival.  Officers have investigative leads, and will be conducting follow up. 

#010:  Burglary/narcotics arrest:
At about 6:52 am, officers responded to a 911 call for a resident on Macbeth Av.  A suspect rang her doorbell for several minutes.  When the resident opened the door the suspect forced his way in, and ran to the garage.  The suspect claimed he was being chased be people.  The suspect then broke the resident’s sliding glass door and began jumping neighboring fences.  Officers eventually located the suspect.  The suspect, a 28 year old male from Hayward, was arrested for burglary, being under the influence, and vandalism.
